Nothing says traditional English Ale than a bad pun on a pump clip!
Our members worked with technical advisor Sarah Marshall from Crisp Malt to create this chevalier heritage strong bitter. Notes of apricot, grass, with a lovely malt sweetness, and balanced traditional hop bitterness make this the quaffable strong bitter that's been missing from your life.

Bottle thanks to Stuu666. Appearance - orangey brown and solid. Off-white head. Nose - dried orange and bready. Taste - dried orange, candied lemon, sweet spice and bread. A slightly sour green apple note is lurking. Palate - medium bodied, tangy with an edge of sour. Overall - enjoyable, even if the sour note isn't particularly what is expected.

Bottle from my brethren. Aroma combines caramel sweetness with sharp fruit. A murky opaque light toffee brown. Thick foamy off-white head. Chewy. There's a fruity sourness balanced by caramel and dough. Bitter streak throughout. Light. Slick if thin. Lifted by lively soft-fizzy carbonation. Nice.
