On tap at The Green Goddess, Blackheath Royal Standard. Nose is dark chocolate, coffee, raisin. Taste is raisin, coffee, soy sauce, more dark chocolate. Malty sweet with a light smoky edge.

440ml can. Pours almost black with a tan head. Aroma of roast malts, chocolate, molasses. Taste of roast and chocolate malts, dark fruits, molasses, slightly smokey, bittersweet. Medium bodied.

Cask at Egham Beer Fest Autumn 24. Aroma is chocolatey with a sweet berry streak. Darkest brown. Reflects little light. Frothy foamy beige head. Chewy. Espresso and dark chocolate. A resinous edge. Malts. Medium bodied. Creamy. Average-fizzy carbonation. Long dry astringent finish. Punchy.
