Hand pulled half pint from the Baltic Fleet, Liverpool; drank outside in the late afternoon sunshine. Dirty red body, beige crown. Smells of Rye, tastes of Rye, it's dominated by the Rye, struggled to like it.

One-third pint, draught at Shakespeare's. Covering white head, spotty lacing and a hazy dark golden body. Bread-fruity aromas, inviting. Taste of biscuit, bread-like malts and followed by resinous bitterness towards the finish. Medium bodied. Nice enough. (Sheffield, 29.04.2025).

Draft into bottle from lowcosbeer.com. Hazy yellow-gold with thin white head. Pale malt aroma, a bit creamy with a certain tropical and citrus hoppiness. Taste is toasted malt, light pine, passionfruit, zingy carbonation. OK.

Keg at Bank of Conwy, Conwy. Aroma has citrus and a rye edge. Opaque amber. Thick foamy white head with decent lacing. Light-medium bitter with a sour edge. Rye them sweeps through displaying the citrus. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Prickly fizzy-soft carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Pleasant but that's about it. Lacking Rye.

On tap at Black Lodge, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out gentle spicy rye, some light piney hops and crisp biscuity malt. Flavour is crisp, with gentle piney hops, and very lightly spicy rye. Not much character here really. Clean but uninteresting.

Can from the brewery online shop. Pours hazy amber with a thin off-white head. Aromas of orange rind and pine. Taste is more of the same. Not getting much rye, but its a joy number. Bitter finish.

Thin beige head on a hazy dark golden coloured body. Pine & bitter citrus aroma. Medium bodied, soft over the tongue with a sharp back. Pine, resinous, grapefruit & pithy tastes with a tangy finish. Deece.
