West Coast IPA

What defines a West Coast IPA? Bitterness, darkness, hop heavy and anywhere between golden and amber in colour.

I hope that your vote for Green Bullet, Idaho 7 & Hallertau Blanc are everything you dream of!

This trio of hops should bring flavours of resinous pine, lime zest, white grape and a bunch of mango.

Bottle from my Fellowship subscription. Aroma is fruit, citrusy. Resinous edge. Opaque amber. Thick fluffy foamy white head. Resin to the fore. Certainly woody. Citrus edge. Slightly vinous. There is a sweet fruity core in there but it's slightly hidden by the other elements. Medium bodied. Slick. Soft carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. An unusual West Coast IPA. A lot going on.
