Cask at The Shirker's Rest. Aroma is dry and herbal. Clear gold. Frothy foamy white head. Light citrus sourness light bitter edge. Underlying malts. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry astringent finish. I understand that this beer is considered a class but it's jus another underpowered Golden Ale... despite the dry hopping for this version.

Can at home. It pours clear yellow with a decent frothy white head. The aroma is fresh, lovely fresh citrus character, tangerine, kumquat, pomelo, grapefruit, orange blossom, some orchard fruits and clean bready malt. The taste is crisp, dry, lingering bitterness, clean, floral action, orange blossom, touch of firm peppery spice, pithy, zesty, kumquat, grapefruit, touch of bread in the malt base and some fresh green character with a lingering zesty bitter finish. Lighter end of medium body and firm, massaging carbonation. Very quaffable. Moreish.
