Cask by stillage at One Inn The Wood, Petts Wood on 30th May 2025. Almost impenetrably black with almost no foam or lace. Rich, roasty coffee aroma. Coffee, dark chocolate and cake fruits in-mouth. Roastiness meets leafy herbs and spices in the finish. Velvet smooth mouthfeel and a lightish body for a stout.

Cask at Egham Easter 24. Aroma is low key. Loght malty chocolate. Hazy-opaque dark brown. Thick foamy beige head. Bitter cacao alongside a sour berry edge. Powdery cacao. Light to medium bodied. Straining to be creamy. Flat-average carbonation. Basic if drinkable.
