Cask at CBC, Covent Garden on 6th January 2024. Dark brown with shallow, loose off-white foam and virtually no lacing. Nutty malts aroma. Hazelnut nuttiness in liquid pass, and a hard malt finish. Light body and a smooth mouthfeel.

Cask at Craft Beer Co Covent Garden. Aroma is chocolatey with a caramel streak. Clear dark brown. Delicate frothy foamy beige head. Medium bitter. Dusty cacao bitterness. Grains. Caramel edge. But also a big boiled veg and cardboard streak. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Flat-soft carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Damp squib of a brown.
