Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up from the brewery taproom. Pours clear reddish-brown with a dense, creamy tan head. Medium sweet flavour with richly toasted brown bread, whole grains, cocoa, ash, hint of rubber, earth. Medium bodied with fine carbonation and velvety texture. Perfectly balanced finish, more ashy roast, baking cocoa, torched grass, orange rind. Superb.

Cask at the tap. Aroma has creamy cacao. Opaque dark brown.Thick bubbly foamy white head. Chocolate,.creamy. But had a herbal, vinous edge - it's whispy. Medium bodied. Creamy. Soft carbonation. Long slightly astringent finish. Lovely jubbly. Swim in this.
