Can from Garsons, West End. Aroma does have redcurrant alongside rye and malts. Opaque dark brown. Medium bitter with a sour streak. Berries. Underlying rye spicy sweetness. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Average carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Doesn't really work as a winter warmer for me. It's not warm and cozy. It's too ramped up. Nice but not what is promised.
