Grisette with mirabelle plums on apricot lees, 4.5%
This beer is a tribute to my grandfather, to whom I owe the taste of handmade things as much as the taste for mirabelle plums. This is a blend of barrel-aged Grisettes, refermented on apricot lees from a previous beer, with an addition of 200 g/L of fresh mirabelle plums.
It is a rustic and fruity beer, with a touch of stone fruit gourmandise.

Bottle. Enjoyed this one on a beer related evening with a friend, didn't take any notes but enjoyed this shared beer and good company. Remembring more apricot than the subtle flavors of plum. A bit thin, but that's fine in this case. A lot of flavors for this relatively low abv. Another nice beer from Le Soupir.
