Bottle 35 cl. Pours a cloudy, opaque, murky brown with a small, off-white head. Nutty, faintly roasty nose. Medium body, sweet roastiness and malt bonbons, very subdued bitterness. Pleasant and uncomplicated. 021125

Good, thick cream-coloured head; beautiful bright chestnut beer. Bit nutty, woody, hazelnuts, dark malts, melanoidins. Even a fine, short smoked touch, bit as roasted chestnut. Dark malts, but the little bitterness seems to come more from the roast than from hops. Medium bodied, bit still, carbonation turning out to be fast gone. Nice, even if far away from Dunkel topbeers.
