Real tropical, creamy, with a hoppy finish. Simcoe Jones. Oniony. Figured this picture I took yesterday was appropriate for a beer check in with Maine in the name.

Tap at Salamanation. Hazy orange colour and small white head. Straw, some fruityness in the nose. Medium-bodied. Tropical fruity, semi-sweet with some straw. Okish.

473ml can. Hazy, dark yellow-ish to orange, golden colour with average to huge, thick, creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, white head. Citrusy and tropical fruity, hoppy aroma with minimally leafy and papery aspects, minimally rural-grainy and minimally caramel malty background, notes of passion fruit, mango, orange, mandarine, some guava, a widely disguised touch of toffee; cryo-typical papery whiffs as well. Taste is dry, minimally papery, citrusy and tropical fruity hoppy, rural-grainy, malty background, diluted hints of mango, orange, mandarine, some fruit acidic tartness, a light papery cryo touch again; rather dry, slightly papery and minimally bready-spicy finish. Watery texture, dry palate, medium, mildly prickly carbonation. Rather dry, not really juicy, too papery - good, but not fully convincing.

021621, last of my prison city IPAs, wasn't too impressed besides the mango tea one. But can't blame em for what and when half time ships.
