Bottle: Hazy, amber coloured, stable off-white creamy head; fruity phenolic-wheaty nose, cloves and bananas in the background, completed by a little amount of caramel; moderate sweet flavour with a slight acidity, medium bodied, soft; lingering creamy wheaty-phenolic finish, slight tart and sourish aftertaste. Pretty good Weizen.....

Bottle: Hazy, deep golden, mid-sized fluffy off-white head; moderate to robust grainy-wheaty nose, bananas, cloves plus some yeast inclided; light to moderate sweetish-tart flavour, light bodied, a bit fizzy; slightly lingering sweetish-sourish finish with some tartness around. Resonable Weizen.....

(bottle) Cloudy, amber colour with a big and dense tanned foamy head. Moderately sweet malty and wheaty aroma with obvious notes of banana, cara-malt and lighter clovy accents. Mildly sweet and slightly sour flavour, light bodied with a moderate carbonation. Pretty slim wheaty body with notes of cara-malt and a shy touch of banana and a whiff of cloves; dry and slightly fruity wheaty finish with cloves and tart notes in the aftertaste. The aroma of this Altbayrisch Weizen/Ur-Weisse was promising while the rest was rather mediocre. 10.VIII.10
