Tasted side by side with a fresh Judocus Inperial Stout which should be the same beer according to man who sold me this beers at the brewery. Color: Almost black, very light brown head. Same as the fresh Judocus only faster disappearing head at the older one. Aroma: Roasted malt, cocoa, black coffee. Also the same as fresh Judocus, only a little more intense at the older one. Taste: Smooth, bit creamy mouthfeel. Roasted malt, dark black coffee, licorice root. Moderate to over moderate sweet, over moderate to medium bitterness. Dry-ish mouthfeel. Long lasting finish. Also the same as fresh Judocus, only less carbonation and a little bit more creamy at the older one. Making the flavours also slightly more intense. Definitely the same beer. same recipe and consistent brew. Just as Judocus this is a nice no nonsense bittery Imperial Stout.
