Von einer Reise kam er mit Bourbon-Fässer nach Hause und hat schnurstracks in einige Fässer unser Hanseat 2.0 hineingefüllt. Das Ergebnis nach über einem Jahr Lagerzeit haben wir nun in Flaschen abgefüllt.
Unsere fassgelagerten Biere erkennt Ihr an den Etiketten – wir haben sie einfach durchnummeriert: die erste Zahl, in dem Fall die 2, steht dabei für das Bier – und die Zahl nach dem Punkt, in diesem Fall die 1, für das jeweilige Fass, hier das Bourbon Fass. Die Fasslagerungs-Serie hat somit auch echtes Sammlerpotential! Wer genau hinschaut, sieht auch die Koordinaten auf jedem der Etiketten. Diese stehen (man kann sie per Google Earth finden) stellvertretend oder konkret für die Orte, von denen die Fässer stammen.

250ml bottle. Hazy, amber colour with small, creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Woody and minimally fruity aroma, hints of souri-ish, fermenting apple and vegetables, cautious peaty overtones. Taste is dry, woody, oaky, tannic, tart-ish, minimally sweet caramel malty, hints of toffee, leather, peat, sour fruit.

Bottle 250ml. @ home. [ As Union Bremer Pilot Brew 2.1 (Hanseat 2.0 Barrel Aged) ].Clear medium amber colour with a average to small, frothy, good to fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, bread, oxidide malt, sweet malt, rich malt, malty, dried fruit, light vanilla - wood. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, dried fruit, sweet malt, fruity malt, oxidide, vanilla - wood. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. Bottle. Frothy white good mostly lasting head. Yellow colour. Moderate malty and hoppy aroma. Light bitter flavor. Average light bitter finish. oily palate..

Bottle @Ulfborg Tasting. Nearly clear light amber, offwhite head. Malty, caramely aroma, some fruity notes, wood and vanilla. Malty flavour with very sweet bourbon, woody too. Has a woody sourishness to it.

Bottle, 7.6%. Hazy golden with small off-white head. Aroma is malt, caramel, toasted, hop and grass. Flavour is malt, caramel, hop, toasted, dark fruit, medium sweet, barrel, wood and a little bitter.

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Unclear orange with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, wood, light tart, light vanilla and light fruity. Flavor is quite sweet, moderate bitter and slightly acidic. Dry and slightly acidic finish. 150918

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Medium head with medium duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are caramel, wood, bourbon, fruits, malt and hops. Nice bourbon finish.

0,25 l bottle from the brewery shop. Hanseat 2.0 Bourbon Barrel-Aged. Listed with 7.6% abv, BB 07.12.2019. Pours out in an unclear copper, smallest fast fading head. Smells like a fruity smooth whiskey. Taste starts with a mix of caramell and whiskey and fruity sourness. Also smooth. Getting dry in the second part. Some wine elements, earthy hints. Less alcoholic than expected. Nice.

Intensiv holziger Geruch. Trocken holziger Antrunk mit milder Bitterkeit, das Grundbier ist nicht erkennbar. Süffig obwohl der Trockenheit, etwas langweilig. 10/8/8/7//8
