375mL bottle, undated, drunk 4/13/25.
Bright, deep, rich, clear blueberry juice with a violet-pink, blueberry head on top fading steadily to partial cover.
Intensely spicy/peppery blueberry character with rich, but not overwhelming acidity from the fruit. This is A LOT of blueberry; maybe the most I've smelled in a beer. Otherwise, the acidity from yeast/culture is low and mellow with biscuity/bready malts lightly balancing and more blueberry goodness on the finish.
Juicy and moderately oaky, but not raw/toasty/tannic. Just a bit of butter and wood to complement the big blueberry character. All of this blueberry juice/sugar does lighten the body a good deal - I wish there was more malt depth/lower mashing temp or some more lower fermentable grains to give more texture. It's very light/loose/watery for 7%. But the blueberry character is second to none, at least, and the acid from culture is mellow and controlled.

Expected jammy from the color but it's pretty light in flavor, the blueberries are nice though.
