Several years ago we caught a wild yeast strain from the open air of the Yaquina Bay. We cultivated the strain, along with 5 common varieties in 16 barrels, selecting & blending the best of them to form our house mixed culture. With this unique culture we've created a series of limited, foeder aged, sour beers to get your taste buds tingling. This kriek highlights both sweet and tart cherry flavors that are supported by oak.

Bottle from Liquor Barn in Redding,CA. Pores, dark cherry color with a transient head. Aroma is funky tart, dark cherry. Medium body. dry and funk substitutes for bitterness. Not so tart as some but tasty.
