24th July 2019; Shrewsbury CAMRA Beer Festival in St Mary's Church. 3rd of a cask pint, dark, almost black in fact, beige head. Malty front with a roasted feel and aroma, hop bitterness also.

Cask (handpump) @ #MBCF19, [ Manchester Beer & Cider Festival 2019 ], Manchester Central Convention Complex, Windmill St, Petersfield, Manchester, Great Manchester, England M2 3GX. [ As Chapel Godsend ]. Clear medium to dark red brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted - roasted, caramel, dark malt, moderate hoppy, pine, wood. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration, wood, caramel, dark malt, roasted - toasted, pine, dry, hoppy. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat.
