Poured from the tap @ Alesmith. Very dark brown with small off-white head. Rye bread crusts, very feint coffee and tobacco. Decent, but the coffee doesn't really add much over well produced schwarzbier (this is competent, but wouldn't consider it excellent to style).

Tap at the brewery. Pours dark brn/blk with a tan head. Aroma of dark malt chocolate with a touch of chocolate. Med body. Schwartz flavor. Nails the style.
