OK, another stupid ass voodoo ranger, NB must have made millions on this VDR fad; and the end is nowhere in sight. This stuff, from a can, smells sweet, almost like sugary cotton candy. Of course, like most all VDRs, its pale and hazy. First taste is typical VDR IPA; a big blast of bitter bullshit from top to bottom, from beginning to end. What else can be said? Its another terribly on style IPA. So nasty, so negative nellie. Oddly, compared to other VD rangers, I do sense a little bit of sizzling co2 in this, which makes it a little less mouth coating than the rest of this ranger series. Oh well, there you have it. How many voodoo rangers have they made in the series? 20? 50? A gazillion? Or, is it a brazillion? Just asking. Will never buy this again, but ticking these VDRs has given me another hunderd to 10K! Hhehehhehh hah, especially when I find them on the clearance bargain rack for a buck! In the end I was hoping it had more ABV than 7 so it would help me overlook the fact that I'm drinking a dastardly bastardly, all the rage, IPA!

In der Nase deutlich Mango, optisch Eigelb, trüb, schöner Sahneschaum. Im Trunk saftig, cremig, pure Frucht, passt.

12 oz. can from Publix. Thanks, Ashley! Pours a cloudy applesauce color with a large white head and great retention. Spotty lacing. Lighter than expected mango aroma. Floaties present. The taste follows the nose: Light mango flavor with some very soft background hops notes. Very mellow for an IPA. More juicy than bitter. The 6.7% ABV is very well hidden. Medium body and medium-light carbonation. Low bitterness, especially for the style.

Aroma of bananas and miscellaneous fruit. Taste has huge fruity mango notes, some berry, some more citrus, lemon. Palate has some Amarillo hops, some melon. Quite good.

Can from The Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours translucent gold with a large frothy white head. Aroma is mango with a citrus note. Med body. Flavor is pretty much mango - tho a citrus note and some pale malt support are present. Juicy but towards dry. Bitter, but not very. Decent flavor.
