Can. Quite dark brown, with a tan foamy head. Nose is malty and chocolate. Smooth and malty up front, followed by some effortless chocolate. Decent flavor thru the middle, then some of the alky starts to show. Gets a tad volatile but remains quaffable. Decent almost bold, yet friendly. Good carbonation. Near the end, getting some of that nice aged damp partially burnt campfire wood character. Not bad overall, just wish it had a few more manners considering its a dunkel. S 6 L 4 F T O

Tap on the steamboat Natchez in NOLA. Pours clear dark brown with a tan head. Aroma of chocolate and dark malt. Medium body. Flavor is lightly sweet dark malt with some somewhat milky chocolate and mild coffee notes. Maybe a bit of dark fruit. Very nice.

12 oz can from Total Wine. Pours a crystal clear, super dark ruby color with a small beige head and decent retention. Very little lacing. Dark roasted malt aroma. The flavor matches the aroma: Dark roasted malt flavor throughout. Drinks like a thin stout or a Schwarzbier. Very clean and smooth. Medium body with medium carbonation. Low bitterness. Great flavor and easily repeatable.
