Tastes of tropical fruits and some booze warmth in the finish. A little too much alcohol to let the juicy notes fully shine through. Actually pretty smooth for 9.0% ABV. I agree: This is more of a fruit beer than a blonde ale. Any bready notes are lost in the mix. Sneaky strong, but better than expected. Medium body. Medium carbonation. Low bitterness.

Can from a local grocery store. Pours darkly translucent gold with a creamy white head. Aroma is very guava, and there's some passion fruit. Med body or better. Flavor is very guava, and there's passion fruit with prickles. Lots of juice in this thing. Fruity but towards dry. Moderately bitter or so - perhaps mostly from the passion fruit. The guava may not be pink, because that sweetness seems absent. Juicy enough for breakfast.
