The West Coast IPA is a style we are passionate about, and played a significant role in the growth of bold, full-flavoured, modern beer. This one-off is our take on that classic West Coast style, making it distinctly different to our all-season IPA. Expect big flavours of citrus, marmalade and pine leading into a long, bitter finish full of resinous hop accents.

Can. Archer Road Beer Stop, Sheffield. Clear, pale amber. Foamy, off white head. Nose has sappy pine. Marmalade. Old hop. Fusty citrus. Smell like 2009. Taste is marmalade sweet, with a resinous, chewy bitterness. Medium body. Plenty oily. Feels a bit heavy. Long, resinous bitterness to finish. Nah.

Keg at the Bermondsey Taproom. Dark gold brodering on amber. Clear. Pine, sweet citrus, biscuit spread in the aroma. Tastes sweet and slightly resinous at first with an incredibly bitter and dry finish. Mouth-dessicating bitter fruits in the aftertaste. Nicely made and incredibly intense.
