Hazed and Contused

Draft. Hazy golden-amber beer with a cream head. Light tropical fruit and light citrus aroma. Tropical fruit and light yeast flavor. Medium bodied. Good bitterness. Tropical fruit and light yest linger.

Aroma is hop forward and fairly dank and citrusy. Lots of grapefruit, orange and tropical citrus. Lighter passion fruit and guava notes with some berry as well. Dank, oily resin notes. Medium light cracker malt notes and light alcohol notes.
Pours a hazy, golden-orange straw color with a medium large, thick, pillowy, white head that exhibits nice retention as it slowly recedes to a small film that lingers. Moderately high lacing and small legs.
Flavor is somewhat sweet with medium light cracker malt notes. Fairly high bitterness and light alcohol notes. Fairly strong citrus hop notes with grapefruit, orange, lime zest and tropical citrus. Lighter guava, berry, passion fruit and dank, resin notes.
Mouthfeel is medium full bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth.
Overall, a solid hazy IPA. Not my favorite, hop profile but the flavor works more for me than the aroma. Balanced malt notes, sweetness, and bitterness. Alcohol is fairly well hidden. Fairly dank and Simcoe forward.

Can from Corti Bros. Pours hazy grapefruit gold with a large creamy white head. Aroma of citrus, green melon, earth. At least med body. It's earthy/juicy - yet well towards dry and nicely bitter. Flavor of citrus/melon/earth and maybe passionfruit. Very good flavor.
