16 ounce can. Honey gold color. Firm white head settles to a small cap. Nice lacing. Fragrant herbal hop aroma. Tangy, grainy malt flavor upfront. Rustic bread, honey, herbal hops. Earthy yeast, mild oak. Quite tasty.

Can from Tavour. Pours translucent gold with a moderate white head. Aroma is bready/toffee with some minimal hop. Med body. Flavor is light toffee with some grass/spice. And maybe some earth. Not very sweet. Lightly bitter. Decent, but for some reason I'm not thinking super positive about it. Ah, it's oak! Now it makes sense.

Can, forgot to get the date off the top of the 4 pack holder, but I know this is a fresh can. Drunk 5/3/22. Crystal clear, lighter golden-brass. Small, white head showing moderate retention. Nose is just beautiful. Clean, even, balanced. Herbaceous and lightly floral hops mix with rich honey. No excess acidity, no huge sugariness, no alcohol. Light mineral. Soft, malty, well-attenuated, big and rich with long mineral and huge, lush fresh grass and herbal hop notes. Touch of green raisin and apricot with a bit of crusty bread drying things out on the finish. Just unbelievably balanced, wow. Malty and rich, but not too sweet. Hoppy and herbal/floral, but not dominant, nor too bitter. Rustic, grainy malts inject light dryness without taking away from the richness and softness up front. God damn, OEC's oak-aged lagers are every bit as good as Hill's and get no press. So silly.
