Pale brown, some haze, but not much head. The aroma has a touch of plastic, but there's a bit of raisin. On the palate, some alcohol, touch of fruity, touch of soft fruits. Hint of orange rind, and there's plum as well. Definitely boozy. The Willett doesn't seem to be having the best possible impact here.

500mL bottle, pours a deep dark amber with a small beige head. Aroma is complex, with rich caramel malt, dark dried fruit, and whiskey barrels. Flavour is very rich, with lots of whiskey barrels, rich caramel malt, molasses and dark dried fruit. Rich, integrated and elegant. Lovely.

Bottle from Tavour. Pours dark orange/brown with a slight creamy tan head. Aroma is dark fruit and bourbon. Full bodied. Plummy flavor with treacle and bourbon. Hint of oak astringency. Heat. Heat hardly touches the flesh. Really good stuff.
