We turned up the volume on two of our favorite hops to create Blanc Noise-a highly stylized hazy IPA. Germany’s Hallertau Blanc hop stands out from the crowd with its signature notes of white wine, lemongrass, and tropical fruit. We also included New Zealand’s Nelson Sauvin hop, which shares similar flavors that jibe perfectly with Blanc.

12 oz from a variety pack. Aroma has notes of cantaloupe, orange creamsicle. Taste is mostly sweet with no bitterness. Juicy hop character.

Can from Nugget Market in Woodland, CA. Pours hazy gold with a creamy white head. Aroma of white wine, lemongrass and hits of earth and pale fruit. Arguably med body. Flavor pretty much matches the aroma. Juicy but not tropically so. Fairly towards dry. Moderately bitter. Nice, but not outstanding.

12oz can. I'd guess Hallertauer Blanc hops from the name at least A decent enough beer, but not really excelling in the style. Better than a lot of of other sixpack stuff I suppose, but not really on the level of top tier 16oz fourpacks. Drinkable, but nothing stellar. Some neomexicanus-like tropical juiciness, peach, papaya...hop depth is there. OK.

Can, mix pack, kroger. Hazy orange with some floaties and an off-white head. Peachy-tropical nose, some greens. Green tropical fruit, peach skin. A bit thin, not quite session, but a cross between a session and a NEIPA.
