ABV: 4.8%. Clear dark brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, dark malt, sweet malt, dark fruit, wood, light roasted. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average to long duration, wood, sweet malt, dark malt, fruity malt, dark fruit. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20190124]

Cask at Tanners Hall JDW Darlington. Dark brown amber colour, biege foamy head and spiced aroma. Taste is cinnamon spice, spruce, almost minty with malt, chocolate and dried fruits. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry earthy spiced finish. Quite OK
