Can 0.473l, two and half year aged. Black as Išmar's hair. AROMA- roasted, maple syrup, vanilla, liquor, coffee, earthy. FLAVOR- moderately sweet, medium bitterness, warming, roasted, liquor, dark chocolate, vanilla, decent coffee. Full bodied. Very sweet, still very good.

Can - pours a viscous deep black, with a moderate dark tan lace - really nice balance between the sweetness of the maple, the bitterness and roast of the coffee, and the earth, floral/sweet vanilla - not abrasive (as often happens with a beer with so much coffee in it), nor boozy (as is often the case with such high anv) - but it is hefty and full enough to encourage slow sipping - hearty and delicious.

Capped 500 from Nugget Market in Woodland, CA. Pours dark brn/blk with a dark rusty/tan head. Aroma is very nice coffee over sweetish burnt malt. Full bodied. Flavor is very nice coffee over sweetish burnt malt with a little chocolate and a fair amount of earth notes. Heat for sure, but it is not obnoxious - adds to flavor and balance. Good flavor.
