Super hazy golden and straw coloured body with a thinnish, single centimetre tall off-white head that fades slowly but leaves a thin lace on the sides. Aroma of citrus, grass, mangoes and a dash of flowers with a light dose of malts, but this really does show the grassy and especially citrusey scents right up front. Medium-bodied; Rich orange, mango and tropically papaya notes dominate with a little bitterness from the alpha acids with a smooth sweetness at the end from the fruits and a slight dryness from the grass and hay elements with a touch of bready notes from the yeast, too. Aftertaste shows some light toffee and caramelised sugar notes, but mainly a dry and grassy punch to couple with the citrus and grassy notes, but fairly balanced, robust and pretty rich! Overall, a nice, dry and herbal IPA that has glimmers of a New England IPA, but almost more of a brut IPA (if your eyes were closed) or a pure West Coaster, but regardless, it was a nice beer that is balanced nicely and has some good characteristics. I sampled this sixteen ounce pint on draught at Slanted Tree Kitchen & Taproom in Fairfield, California on 08-March-2022 for US$8,00 sampled while eating dinner.

Can from Total Wine in Folsom, CA. Pours hazy gold with a creamy/foamy white head. Aroma is somewhat juicy, has citrus which may include tangerine. Some herbal notes. Med body or better. Dry, not so juicy as expected. Tangerine, herb/green stuff, light roasty malt support. Lots of flavor. Very nicely bitter. Almost biting. Good stuff.
