23/5/2019. Cask at The Dove Street Inn Spring Festival, Ipswich. Pours slightly hazy mid brown with a bubbly off-white head. Aroma of malt, toffee, hops, nut and dark fruit. Moderate sweetness, light bitterness. Medium body, slight oily/sticky texture, quite flat carbonation. Moderate malty, toffee finish. Quite traditional. Decent taste but needed a bit of life.

ABV: 4.5%. Clear medium to dark amber colour with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, sweet malt, caramel, malty. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, sweet malt, caramel. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20190123]
