Transforming one of our highest rated TIPAs, Heavy Pop, into our honey DIPA series. The hop bill provides a juicy blend of passion fruit, sweet berries, papaya and a slight twist of bubblegum while Scottish honey adds a subtle honey flavour and a lot smoothness.

16/5/2024. Can from 3at3 Ely shared by ITFCDan. Pours hazy pale orange gold with a small frothy off-white head. Aroma is juicy, pineapple, orange, mango, stone fruits, caramel. Quite sweet with light to moderate bitterness. Medium body, smooth, average to soft carbonation. Light drying finish. Very nice.

440ml can. Hazy golden orange, white head. Aroma of tropical fruits, white wine, peach, honey. Taste is vinous, white wine, mango, papaya, peaches, tangy fruity finish, sweet but not as sweet as I remember these honey DIPAs being, there's some definite hop bitterness here which is nice. Medium bodied and smooth.

Can from The Fuss Club. Murky orange pour with a white head. Aromas of papaya, peach, pineapple, passionfruit, orange marmalade. Flavours of passionfruit, guava, papaya, grapefruit, honey backnote - gives it a nice bittersweet balance. Long hoppy linger. Quite dry. Interesting brew.

Can from Appellation Wines. Appearance - murky yellow with a foamy white head. Nose - kiwi, nectarine and green mango skin. Taste - sweet kiwi, ripe mango this time. Palate - medium bodied, creamy middle with a tangy, bitter finish. Overall - good stuff! The honey overwhelms the bitter green hop usually the case with this brewery's beer.

Hazy orange beer, white head. Fruity aroma, passion fruit, a little bubblegum maybe? Flavour has those too, with a bit of citrus zest, a big whack of bitter hops. Good body to this, and the fruit is nice and fresh but it tastes its strength so it demands a bit of respect. Rather decent!
