On tap at the brewery in St Paul's, Bristol, December 2023. Near black in colour, with a slight, beige, head. Aroma of toasty malts and chocolate. Flavours of coffee beans, more chocolate, doughy sweetness leading to a toasty, rich, finish. Very good.

440ml can from Left Field Beer, Solihull. Poured a clear, almost black colour with a short-lived, frothy tan head. The aroma is roasty malt and chocolate. The flavour is strong sweet, with a smooth, rich, roasty, chocolate, caramel, dry coffee, light sweet vanilla palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Nice but overly sweet.

440ml can. Black with a small tan head. Aroma of rich cacao, some coffee roast, doughnut I guess. Taste of rich cacao, coffee roast so it's not too sweet, fudgey, doughnut... yeah, that's hit the brief well. Medium bodied, smooth. Nicely done.
