Somewhere around a Belgian Golden Strong and Tripel style, this ale is a collaboration with our deear friend Yvan De Baets of Brasserie De La Senne in Brussels. Created with a select Belgian yeast, pilsen malt, candi sugar, and Hallertauer Blanc Hops.

Big and sweet, with the candi sugar and gentle spiciness of a tripel mixed with a slight apple-lemon fruitiness and traces of white bread. Finishes with lingering vanilla and clove and a hint of floral bitterness. Not bad.

12oz can. Has that bretty funk in the aroma letting you know that this isn't a straightforward Golden Ale. Mostly still drinks like a Tripel or Strong Golden, but some funk as well..not unlike Orval at times but a heavier body. Candy sugar sweetness. A little soapy. Has a nice depth to it, but overall a little odd.
