16 oz. can from Beerhead. in this unseasonably chilly weather even holding the can at arm's length I am still getting a nice beer smell when I pour. So ding ding for that! Amber beer with a bit of haze, and a light IPA hop nose accentuated by cherry hard candy. A bit of that candy in the taste, too, as the name implies. Rather slight bitterness on the palate, and not much alcohol to notice. Goes over nicely.

Sampled from the tap at the Hammond location. Pours a clear gold with a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges and laces. Aroma has light dank mango with sweet citrus and a bit of sweet grain backing. Flavor has sweet citrus and mango with a creamy sweet grain backbone.

Lactose is subtiel. Daar ben ik blij om. Vanwege mijn lactose intolerantie

Can has a date of 24 September 18 on it so it's not that old. As far as the name goes, it's a misnomer. It's neither candy nor crushable. Aromas are lactose fruit and yeast bit of malt. Flavor's fairly Bland no hops except for a little bitter. Basically a strongly carbonated dryel with a long bitter finish.

Keg at BD Soho, 03/08/18. Lightly hazed golden orange with a decent off white cap. Nose is tangerine, melon, mellow citric pith, straw, toasted grains. Taste comprises orange pith, hint of pine, airy malts, light breads, melon, grassy. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with balanced hop bitterness. Ok hoppy sessioner but as with quite a few of 18th streets offerings today it's not really getting out of 3rd gear for me.
