Satanic panic is a sociological phenomenon that first arose in the early 80's. Everyone was horrified of being subjected to satanic ritual abuse. We have conjured a satanic ritual in the form of a dark, thick imperial stout brewed with vanilla, molasses, cacao nibs, lactose and freshly roasted coffee. This is our over the top tribute to the darkness.

Can. 10%. Color: Black, beige head. Taste: Heavy roasted malt, strong black coffee, notes of cocoa and vanilla. Light to medium bitterness. Above medium sweet. Smooth, lactose. Full body, low carbonation. Bittery roasted finish. Nice one although a bit too sugary and sticky.

Can from Mikkeller Webshop. Chocolate and vanilla aroma, a hint of coffee. Jet black. Frothy beige head, however it's somewhat short lived. There's a short build-up into a bitter peak, which is then smoothed over by a vanilla creamy mocha sweetness. Lasting coffee bitterness in the finish. Thick bodied. Creamy. Almost gloopy. Average carbonation. Long slightly astringent finish. I like the can. Had it on my desk at work. Told a colleague that my wife had packed me a 10% Impy Stout for my lunch and they believed me. Anyways, good stuff, if sugary.
