Satanic panic is a sociological phenomenon that first arose in the early 80's. Everyone was horrified of being subjected to satanic ritual abuse. We have conjured a satanic ritual in the form of a dark, thick imperial stout brewed with vanilla, molasses, cacao nibs, lactose and freshly roasted coffee. This is our over the top tribute to the darkness.

33cl Can, thanks Plovmand! 10% version. Black colour, beige head. Aroma is sweet, lots of lactose, vanilla, coffee, like a very sweet latte. Flavour is sweet, lactose, sugary coffee with milk, some cocoa, roasted malts, cola (molasses?), bittersweet finish. Medium bodied. Nice but rather sweet. I'd rather see breweries go back to making a classic roasty RIS without additives.

Can. Pours black with a white head. Aroma is chocolate, pralines, booze, mocca, caramel, hazelnut. The whole array of chocolate sweets. Body is heavy, strong, sweet and boozy. Sticky texture. Yet no particular strong flavours, some candy, some chocolate. Lingering candy and booze palate. Good, but overpowered.
