Satanic panic is a sociological phenomenon that first arose in the early 80's. Everyone was horrified of being subjected to satanic ritual abuse. We have conjured a satanic ritual in the form of a dark, thick imperial stout brewed with vanilla, molasses, cacao nibs, lactose and freshly roasted coffee. This is our over the top tribute to the darkness.

Draft. A hazy red beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of malt, fruits, hops, and a bit of chocolate. The flavor is sweet with notes of alcohol, fruits, berries, malt, coffee, and hops, leading to a bitter finish. Very complex - a bit weird on my tastebuds.

On tap at Oslo Mikrobryggfest. Has a deep dark brown to black colour with a small beige head. Sweet flavour of lactose, sweet chocolate cake, dark chocolate, coffee and ash. Has a silky mouth feel, full-bodied and a medium bitterness. Lots of coffee and chocolate in this. Really tasteful.

On tap @ Ujevnt. Quite a deep and dark looking one this. Deep deep brown in color and on top only a small beige head. Smells like licorice and soy sauce. Mild roasted in the blend, making it a really nice aroma. Lots of stuff going on in the taste. Boozy for sure, and that's sticking around all the way. Disturbingly boozy. Licorice and traces of salt. Lots of strong coffee also. Bitter boozy tail. Having this as a dessert beer after a lovely sushi meal - having to run for the bus, and this is not a very good quenching beer. Did not work all that well for that purpose, but I can imagine myself sipping on one of these over a long evening. 30.10.2015
