Curiously exploring ingredient combinations and brewing techniques is the defining characteristic of
craft beer.

Cabinet of Curiosity is brewed in collaboration with
Explorium Brewpub to experiment with the impact of colder fermentation temperatures and Phantasm
(a powder sourced from Sauvignon Blanc grapes) on
Mega Motueka, Strata, and Nectaron Hops.

This beer is crystal clear and bursting with both blueberry and citrus aromas and flavors with a light dry finish begging for another sip!

Aftertaste: a little dank, juicy, fruity, grapefruit, zesty, good bitterness, dry, dank hops, some marijuana, a little sweet, lovely.

I was pretty excited that Cocoon was making a Cold IPA. A fun hop combination, the Strata would work well with the style. Not sure why you would even consider adding Phantasm, but it sort of works well enough. Pretty tasty beer. Nice balance overall, considerably more enjoyable than most IPAs in 2024.
