On tap at the brewery. dark orange to brown with off white to beige head. Malty, some fruity notes, bit nutty and bready. Easy drinkable.

Can at Stout Week line share, didn't check the date, drunk 2/18/24. Clear, dark mahogany. Small, beige head, low retention. A bit more base malt than the low gravity Good Word beer I just had, though still tends a bit toasty and lightly roasty with light hazelnut. Clean, though, with a bit of hop and lightly crisp yeast on end. Mildly malty in the mouth, it has a bit of oomph to it, but is also quite toasty. I get that it's only 4.4%, but I still can't help wanting just a bit more malt depth. Clean and with a crisp yeast finish.

16oz can. 5.3% ABV. Really nice malt tone. Clean and bready, true to style. Relatively simple, but expertly executed. Reallly good.
