DRaught @ Beermiscuous, Chicago IL. Opaque dark brown with a large foamy tan head, caramel-biscuit aroma, low caebonation, medium bitter caramel malt taste, toffee, biscuit, smooth thin body, long caramel malt finish. Nice dunkel.

Pour is an almost black with some amber around the edges and a huge foamy tan head. Aroma is a char malt and bitter bakers chocolate. Flavor is more char and roasty malt with a little bitter chocolate on the back end. A little thin but this is still pretty spot on for the style.

On tap at the Mousetrap. Black with nice dense beige head. Nice bready chocolate, moderate sweetness, dry. Nice roasty notes.

Always enjoy a new Czech dark lager style and getting my IL rates close to 100 double bonus. Fairly dark blackish brown pour and pretty beige head. Nos caramel and roast. Tatses of ash, caramel, dark bread, dark chocolate, some earthy tones. Rich mouthfeel.

16oz can. Awesome rich roasty aroma. Steady beige head on top of a deep brown-black body. A lot of depth for the style, serious malt tone. World Class stuff, I doubt you'd find many dark lagers as nice as this in the Czech republic. Excellent stuff.

Sampled from the tap at GTMW 2023. Pours a clear deep amber with a light brown head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has a rich bready grain with a bit of roast and light chocolate underlying. Flavor has a crisp and rich bread with a bit of grain and straw supporting.
