Draught @ the taproom (Oct 2024). Inky black with a very small frothy tan head, mocha-molasses aroma, low carbonation, mildly sweet mocha-molasses taste, cocoa flavor, faint alcohol undertones, thin body, long finish with faint alcohol aftertaste. The alcohol escapes a bit.

Bottle at the Mousetrap. Belgian Stout is quite a hard style to hit. The yeast is quite restrained. Big cocoa chocolate malt tones. Blueberry touches for sure. World Class stuff, sublime and lovely mouthfeel..not Belgian there..more mild. Great.
