After revisiting Cocktail for one of the August pairings, we wanted to continue the New York vibes. It was the downtown inspiration which led us to the amazing Carlito’s Way. It’s set around a decade before Cocktail and of course, is a much darker movie, but that allowed us to toy with the hop presentation. The beer leans in on the Simcoe and Galaxy hops, giving it a danker, darker aroma – a perfect match for the film.

Can on the Central Scotland & Fife Push-Pull tour with 712 and friends, thanks to the Wingmane, 06/10/24. Hazed orange topped with an off white cap that thins to a swirl. Nose is grapefruit, mango, papaya, sweet malts, hop spice. Taste comprises pineapple, grapefruit, guava, mixed tropical fruits, pineapple. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spliced with juicy come lightly resinous hop bitterness. Not bad.
