Draught@Ardbeg Embassy, Stockholm. Black colour, small brown head. Aroma is fruity, sroasted, some toffee. Flavour is fruity, roasted, herbs, some chocolate, mild liquorice and a bit alcohol sweetness as well.

Draught @ Taphouse, Lavendelstræde 15, Copenhagen, Denmark 1462. [ As Södra / Nordic Kiwi Black Kiwi ].Clear dark black brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to light beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, dark malt, sweet malt, fruity hops. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long duration, roasted, wood, oak, dark malt, ash. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. IMO: more black ipa than stout ! [20180311] 7-3-8-3-15

Keg at Ardbeg Embassy, Stockholm. Black with mid sized head. Coffee, licorice and black currant up front. Mid sweet with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Coffee and black currant. Mid bitter finish.

Tap@ Ardbeg Embassy. Poured black color with a creamy off white head. Roasty with chocolate and coffee. Nice balance, roasted malty with hint of tobacco.

Tap @ Ardbeg Embassy. Almost black color, coffee foam. Aroma: sour, smoke, burnt barley, caramel, fruit, sweetly. Taste: unusual, light sour, caramel, bitterness and burnt, rather strange combination.

From tap. Pours pitch black with a brown head. Aroma is fruity and slight roasted malty. Bitter, fruity, pily hops. Bitter and solid hoppy. More black IPA than stout. Dry and solid hoppy. Roasted finish.

(Draught at Ardbeg Embassy, Stockholm, 15 Dec 2017) Black colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, hoppy nose with coffee, pine needles, grapefruit and some mint. Malty, roasted, hoppy taste with notes of coffee, cacao, resin, grapefruit, mint and a generous piney bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a slight sweetness. Tasty and well balanced black IPA, with a fresh hop character. Very nice.

Draught at Ardbeg Embassy, Stockholm, on December 24, 2017.Black color, brown head with lacing. Soapy, burnt, charcoal taste. Alcohol, soapy, bitter, roasted aftertaste. Medium to fizzy mouthfeel, medium high bitterness. Sweet, hoppy, wet stones scent.6/4/6/3/12=3.1

Sample at SBWF 2017. Black with a small tan head. Dry with roasted malt, coffee and some caramel. Kind of soft and easy to drink with a medium bitter finish.
