440ml can. Pours pitch black with a tan head. Aroma of oak, whiskey, chocolate. Taste of chocolate, roast malt, whiskey, oak, the walnut isn't really that prominent at all, sweet and boozy. Full bodied.

Keg at Farmers Boy, St Albans, Herts. A black coloured pour with a medium beige head on top. Sweet, malty, caramel, vanilla, chocolate taste and aroma. An incredibly sweet imperial stout, it's still quite enjoyable though.

Liquorice, barrel & boozy aroma. Super smooth thinning out to a clean back. Syrup, fruity, liquorice & nutty tastes with a big boozy finish.

Strongest beer I've sampled from Arbor (I've had 95 of their beers) and it's a good effort. No overpowering alcohol on nose or palate. I get coffee and straw(!) in the nose and then coffee and walnuts in the mouth. Coffee aftertaste. Needs refinement
