Who says old-fashioned is a bad thing? Sometimes there's nothing better than a stonking bitter, and of the bitter world the ESB is King. Packed with sweet malt flavours and with a moderate fruity hop bitterness, this beer is more balanced than a ballerina on a tightrope.

Cask-conditioned, at Tiny Rebel, Cardiff 25/8/2018. Amber in colour, with a slight, off-white, head. Sweetish malts, a trace of citrus and oak character and a pleasantly bitter finish. Good.
