A classic American Brown ale brewed to showcase the flavours from the malt alongside classic American hops. A combination of Imperial malt for notes of biscuit and Brown malt for a hit of coffee provide the base with a big dose of Amarillo, Columbus and Cascade for classic resinous, orange and grapefruit flavours. Malty, bitter and packed full of flavour.

440ml can. Pours a slightly hazed brown, big beige head. Aroma is malty, fruity and piney hops. Taste is malty and fruity, slightly nutty/biscuity, strong hop presence, pine, citrus, bitter and mildly earthy finish. Light-medium bodied. Pretty good brown ale actually. Very enjoyable.

17/12/2023. Draft at the Ampersand Brew Co Tap, Diss. Pours clear dark amber brown with a small creamy off-white head. Aroma is malty, hoppy, citrus, fruity, biscuit, light nut and pine. Moderate sweetness with quite heavy bitterness. Medium body, smooth, average carbonation. Drying bitter finish. Good, the best on this visit.
