We first got into craft beer because we wanted to be blown away by flavour.
Fruity, Spicy, Zesty
In the push for more modern juicer/hazier/sweeter/more approachable beers, we felt like we had lost a part of that jaw-dropping, face-slapping experience.
This beer is a throwback to our favourite noughties craft beers. A generous dose of six different classic New World hops brings pithy pink grapefruit, mango and guava notes with a fine, fiery, peppery finish. Easy drinking & thirst-quenching yet bold.
Spicy and zesty, with a solid malt backbone. So dig out your Von Dutch trucker hat and your Ed Hardy shirt and let’s go planking.

44 cl can @ hole, BBE 8.12.2024 Aroma has tropical fruits and orange marmalade. Flavour has minerals, some fruitiness, gooseberry bush leaves. Palate is a bit high on CO2. Aroma was promising but flavour is vichy all the way. But at least there are almost no off-flavours and this is kinda refreshing. Probably past its prime already at this point.

Can from Great Grog. Hazy golden body with an off-white head. Faint lacing. Aroma of passionfruit and apricot yoghurt. Flavour of peach and papaya. Thin to medium body with a creamy texture. Soft fizz. Fruity and pungent. Very impressive.

440ml can. Pours a hazy dull yellow, thin white head. Aroma of grapefruit, lemon. Taste has more grapefruit and lemon, some tropical fruit, mild peppery spice. Perhaps intentional but it lacks a punch compared to their other pales, very light but pleasant AF pale.
