What happens when two ghosts collide? Mostly Ghostly was born from the marriage between two great Yorkshire companies, The Chilli Jam Man and York Brewery. Deviously infusing the award winning, dark ruby, Centurion's Ghost Ale with the infamous and scary Ghost Pepper, Mostly Ghostly could give you a bit of a shock!

Cask (handpump) @ #MBCF17, [ Manchester Beer & Cider Festival 2017 ], Manchester Central Convention Complex, Windmill St, Petersfield, Manchester, Great Manchester, England M2 3GX. [ As York Mostly Ghostly ].Clear medium to dark red brown colour with a average, frothy and open, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, dark malt, chili fruit, fruity, toffee. Flavor is moderate sweet with a long duration, chili burn, toffee, dark malt, chili warm finish. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20170120] 5-3-6-3-11

Bottle from Yorkshire Terrier, York. Very dark clear red with no head. Has some lightly aromatic dark malts in its nose. Spiced in its taste, with a good kick to it, although not overbearing at all, with just a lightish fire lit in the palate.

Bottle at appellation. Pours clear brown, nose is peppery, chocolate, taste is hot, chili, vegetive.

Bottle Appellation Wines, Comely Bankers Draught tasting. Pours clear dark brown with a thin white head. Aromas of chocolate and green pepper. Taste is light spice, thin finish.

Bottle from Trembling Madness in York. Loads of dark malt, some chilli in the middle and a long slow chilli finish.
