Appelmoes & Kers (Applesauce & Cherry) Pale Ale is a fruity, spicy and pleasantly hoppy beer. Decorating the applesauce by placing a cherry is characteristic at Van der Valk restaurants. It has been a great and very successful challenge for the Craftbeer brewers of Brouwerij De Molen from Bodegraven to capture that fresh taste of applesauce and cherry in a hoppy Pale Ale of 6% ABV. The beer is spicy in itself and contains notes of citrus due to the use of the hops. Enriching the beer with apple & cherry gives the beer a fruitier character and honors this side dish.

Fles gekregen van JeroenvH, thuis geprobeerd met NickvdH. Het is een troebel roodbruin bier met een beige schuim. Het heeft een aroma van zoete kers. De smaak is vol kersen, zoetig met een hint appel in de afdronk.
